MUSCLES

    1. Move and manipulate the various appendages. Describe their movement. What do you find interesting about each of these? Some of the mussels contract, and others, expend. I found it odd, that the pig has a tricep and a bicep but cant more its arm forward
    2. Where do the muscles attach to the bone? The muscles attach at the origin and the insertion point.3.3.How does where they attach 3.determine the movement of the appendage? From there the muscle will stretch down a bone, ligament, or tendon and connect to another one. That connection is called the insertion point. The muscle will pull that bone toward the origin.
What are some of the differences between the muscle and the tissue where the muscle attaches to the bone? The difference is the muscles move the tissue and the tissue just holds the muscle on the bone

  1. Are there differences in the ways different muscles attach within the same organism? yes
  2. How are the attachments of the muscles similar and different among all the organisms including human muscles? From there the muscle will stretch down a bone, ligament, or tendon and connect to another one. That connection is called the insertion point. The muscle will pull that bone toward the origin such as some tendons connect at different point of the body than say the humans, the cray fish could be different because the crayfish has a exoskeleton, the starfishes muscles are different because they also attach at different points on the body. Also they always need water
  3. What composes the tissue that connects the muscle to bone? Tendon compose the tissue that connects the muscle to the bone.
